Yes, if you need to meet the following criteria:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You need to have a valid visa
  • You need to have a valid passport or ID
  • You are not married or legally divorced

Yes, it is. You can get married in Denmark no matter your gender. For more information visit our LGBTQ site. 

Every couples situations is unique and therefore different documents are needed for different couples. Contact us to find out what exact documents you two need.

What you definitely need:

  • valid passport or ID

What you might need:

  • a valid Visa and schengen area entry Stamps
  • residence permit
  • divorce or death certificate
  • original birth certificates if you have children with your partner 
  • original birth certificate
  • people employed in the military require permission from their commander
  •  a certificate proving your current single status from your current country of residence
 
 

We can apply for your documents 4 months in advance to your elopement, however in most cases you can get married within 2 months after reaching out to us. 

 

Yes, you can get married in Denmark on a tourist visa. You do not need to be a citizen or have a residence here.
